Our historical journey
Since its creation in 2000, CIGR Wiltz Plus a.s.b.l. has played a vital role in the economic and social development of the Wiltz region.

Inauguration of CIGR Wiltz Plus a.s.b.l.
In 2000, union representatives and politicians from the municipalities of Wiltz and Winseler met to find an alternative for individuals in difficulty who were unable to re-enter the primary labor market.

Inauguration of the first Skatepark
In the summer of 2002, the CIGR, in collaboration with the municipality, inaugurated the first skatepark in Wiltz, located on Rue de Winseler.
Inauguration of the barbecue chalet
In September 2002, the CIGR inaugurated the barbecue chalet in Kaul. The chalet was built entirely by its employees.
The Wooltz-Wanseler Internetstuff
The Internetstuff opened its doors in December 2002 as the first facility of its kind in the north of the country, ideally located in the heart of the Grand-Rue in Wiltz.
In 2004, the municipality of Winseler joined the initiative, allowing for the expansion of services and providing 14 computers for users.
Initially designed as a space offering young and old alike access to the digital world and new media, the Internetstuff also established itself as a true venue for intercultural meetings and exchanges.
Between 2002 and 2010, the Wooltz/Wanseler Internetstuff welcomed nearly 45,000 users.
The municipality of Boulaide joins CIGR Wiltz Plus
On December 4, 2002, the municipality of Bauschelt joined CIGR Wiltz Plus a.s.b.l. as the third partner.

The municipality of Esch-sur-Sûre joins the CIGR
The municipality of Esch-sur-Sûre joins the network.
The municipality of Rambrouch joins CIGR Wiltz Plus
The municipality of Rambrouch joins in 2008.
Takeover of the "Veräinswierkstat"
It was established and managed by the LEADER Group from 2004 to 2007. In 2008, CIGR Wiltz Plus a.s.b.l. took over. The idea behind the "Veräinswierkstat" was to create a platform to support local associations and clubs, both technically and logistically (rental of tents and event accessories) and in terms of communication (design of flyers and brochures, mailings, unaddressed distributions, etc.). Today, the project is known as "Locavera."
Renovation of connecting paths in Wiltz
The CIGR undertook the renovation of several connecting paths that were in poor condition.
Another municipality joins CIGR Wiltz Plus
The municipality of Rédange-sur-Attert arrives in 2010. The non-profit CIGR Wiltz Plus has become essential for the local development of the northern region of Luxembourg.

The municipality of Goesdorf joined the CIGR
In 2014, the Goesdorf municipal council decided to join CIGR Wiltz Plus a.s.b.l..
Membership of the municipality of Lac de la Haute-Sûre
In 2015, the municipality joined CIGR Wiltz Plus a.s.b.l..
Opening of the KlimBim workshop
The KlimBim workshop combines economic activity with socio-professional integration, focusing on continuous training and learning by doing. It is an innovative economic workshop centered on the upcycling of objects, furniture, and other materials, calling upon the creativity and ingenuity of everyone.
Thanks to a 100% recovery approach, KlimBim also offers fun and participatory workshops.
Creation of the "Äer Botzkëscht" service
A cleaning service complementary to the "Eisen Gudden Noper" local neighborhood service.
15th Anniversary of CIGR Wiltz Plus
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of CIGR Wiltz Plus and the inauguration of the KlimBim workshop, we shared a moment of celebration, sharing, and discovery.
Membership of the municipality of Kiischpelt
In 2016, the partnership between the municipality and the CIGR began. The playground in the Kiischpelt schoolyard was built by the CIGR.

Membership of the municipality of Saeul
In 2020, the municipality joined CIGR Wiltz Plus.
Opening of the Re-naissance store
Open since 2020, the second-hand store and sewing workshop is located on the Grand-Rue in Wiltz.
Opening of the KlimBim store
Since February 2021, our Buttik KlimBim store has spanned 60 m2 on "Rue Hannelast" in Wiltz. All furniture and decorative items offered for sale are donations that have been prepared with creativity, care, and love by our employees at the KlimBim workshop.
CIGR Wiltz Plus celebrates its 20th anniversary
Following the "Gudden Noper on Tour" visit to all member municipalities, the CIGR concluded its festivities with a conference organized at the Weidingen Multipurpose Hall.
25th Anniversary of CIGR Wiltz Plus a.s.b.l.
On October 9, CIGR Wiltz Plus a.s.b.l. celebrated its 25th anniversary in Eschdorf. This celebration, which was also attended by the Minister of Labor Georges Mischo, was an opportunity to look back on a quarter-century of commitment.
